I threw in hints about them in AatW, but neither Miranda nor Damon were at the point of openly talking about their inner selves by the time the novel ended. That’s why I went ahead and wrote these letters. 🙂
I’m really loving the letters and getting to know them a little better. I often find myself thinking back to how they were in Alice and the Warden and what lies in their futures.

I would never have guessed at the depth of these two without these letters. And it’s so sweet of the goldfish to not hate Damon anymore!
