I’ve been talked into creating a Discord channel.
I haven’t the slightest clue who’d want to talk to me, but it exists. I’ll probably post pictures of my cats.
If you want, you can ask me to read the first chapter of your novel, or for insider gossip about my fictional characters, or tell me that I’m the best person to ever exist (lawl jk).
Of course, as an FYI, I only get around to conversing when I feel good and ready to, so don’t expect me to be constantly plugged in 24/7.
Also, I can’t figure anything out. I am not super internet-literate.
I’ve never heard of Discord (I’m not super Internet-literate, either), but I like cat pictures.

It’s chat rooms, as far as I can tell.
I’m trying to find ways to connect with readers that don’t involve social media, and that came up as an option. I figure the worst that happens is that I spend a few minutes chatting with the Void every now and then.
(including the new kittens, we now have 10 cats and I don’t know how that happened. I need to get some adoptions arranged).

That sounds kind of scary, but infinitely better than all the negatives that come with social media. Doesn’t sound too different from blogging into a void.
Haha, talk about crazy cat lady! I wish I could adopt one, but my cat probably won’t let me live. Or sleep ever again.

Only six cats are here to stay. We built a little heated house for them outside, and most of them come and go as they please. Otherwise there would be way too much cat everywhere.
I resonate more with children and animals, so that’s what I’ve filled my life with. My husband calls it my zoo, lol (he is so tolerant).

My sister-in-law is a lot like you. We joke she has either her own zoo or farm, though my brother has drawn the line at 2 kids. There does not appear to be a line when it comes to animals, but he’s nicer to animals than people, so it’s really a match made in heaven.
